Patient-Centered Outcomes Research in the
Medical Informatics Initiative (MII)

The aim of PCOR-MII is to foster the collection of digital patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in the healthcare setting and to integrate them with other types of medical data - for example on diagnosis and therapy - to ultimately enable research on relationships between subjective and objective parameters for therapy success.

Our new paper explores how the PCOR-MII project is integrating patient-reported outcomes (PROs) into the national data infrastructure of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII). 14/05/2024: Workshop in Berlin

On May 14, a workshop on Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) took place at the TMF. Among other topics, the role of PROMs in the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) was discussed, as was the PCOR-MII project. Furthermore, it was discussed how PROMs can be interoperably recorded on a large scale using readily available tools, methods, and models and used across sites and projects in MII.
